Four years ago, my husband and I got married in the presence of my best friend, Hubby's best friend, and a few of our family members.
That day marked my ritual transition from a dark winter of my life to a fragrant, vivid spring. I have been happier these last four years than in any other four years of my life, and I trust that we will continue to be happy all the rest of our days. Here is the scripture lesson from our wedding: Solomon 2:10-13 My lover spoke and said to me, "Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me. See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me." Yet again, Easter bursts forth in the midst of Lent. Thanks be to Goddess. ♥
