In case you've missed the excitement on my mommy blog, my Hubby and I found out on our daughter's birthday that she's going to be a big sister! And now, after multiple visits to the OB, everything looks A-OK.
That means a few things. First, I'm placing my wedding officiating on hold until after baby #2 is born. The three weddings I had the privilege to officiate this year were beautiful and memorable, but they also involved a significant time commitment both in terms of meetings and personal preparation. With OB appointments in the mix at least once a month (as well as an increasingly sore mama body!), weddings and their requisite meetings just won't be feasible. So all you lovebirds who want me to marry you, just hang on to your britches a while. :) Second, it means that the focus of this website is going to shift away from weddings and turn to what's most pressing (apart from kidlet #2, whom you can read about over on my mommy blog!). What's most pressing now? Several things, all related. ~my Kickstarter book, which I've made exciting progress on in the last month ~my journey of faith, which has me on a roller coaster of certainties, challenges, and loop after loop of ambiguity ~the liturgical year, which--with a baby on the way--is more important to me than ever. Is there anything else you would like to see here in the coming months? Your comments are always welcome below. Blessings, Happy Halloween, and Happy Reformation Day!
