Author Visits

M. Kate Allen (she/her) is an award-winning multi-genre author and the creator of the Write On Wednesday video series featuring writing exercises through the lens of place. She has taught writing classes and workshops, facilitated writing groups, served as a panelist at writing conferences, and has been hired as a Writer-in-Residence. She has also worked with hundreds of students at various schools to share her books, introduce her writing methods, and discuss writing as a career path. She utilizes skills in many creative disciplines (including photography, painting, dance, and music) to make her lessons on writing accessible.
